Our Carpet Cleaning Process
1. Inspection
Every carpet is different. We begin by inspecting the carpet type, condition, level of soiling, traffic patterns and any stains or areas requiring special attention. This allows us to determine the most effective cleaning approach for your carpet. We also ask customers to point out any areas affected by pet urine so we can treat them appropriately.
2. Pre-Vacuuming
A thorough pre-vacuum is one of the most important steps in professional carpet cleaning. By removing dry soil, dust, pet hair and loose debris before extraction cleaning begins, we achieve deeper cleaning results and improve the effectiveness of the entire cleaning process.
Our technicians pay special attention to edges, corners, skirting boards and other hard-to-reach areas where dirt and dust often accumulate. This essential step helps ensure that loose contaminants are removed before wet cleaning begins.
3. Pre-Treatment
Stains, high-traffic areas and heavily soiled sections are pre-treated with our spot remover to help break down embedded dirt and grime. Where appropriate, we use a rotary machine to work the solution through the carpet fibres for a more thorough and effective clean.
4. Deep Extraction Cleaning
Using professional extraction equipment, we remove embedded dirt, soil, allergens and residues from deep within the carpet fibres. This process helps restore the appearance and freshness of your carpets while removing contaminants that regular vacuuming cannot reach.
5. Spot & Stain Treatment
Individual stains receive specialised treatment where appropriate. While many stains can be significantly improved or removed, results may vary depending on the type of stain, how long it has been present and whether permanent damage to the carpet fibres has occurred.
6. Accelerated Drying
To help reduce drying times, we use professional carpet air movers to increase airflow across the carpet surface. Good airflow promotes faster drying and allows you to return to normal use sooner.
7. Final Inspection
Once cleaning is complete, we conduct a final quality inspection to ensure the work meets our standards. We also provide aftercare recommendations to help keep your carpets looking cleaner and fresher for longer. We prefer not to place furniture back on damp carpets with steel or wood legs, as these can stain the carpet. In some instances, we do make use of plastic protectors.
